Just right for our garden water feature.
Exactly what we wanted. The pump does not have quite the output we were expecting but it does the job. Instructions say to zip tie the bamboo to a metal rod. I just got a piece of re-bar, pounded it into the ground, and slid the bamboo over it. Much more attractive this way. Pump has only been running 24 hours. I will post again if there are any issues with it.

Very happy with product
Item was packaged nicely and well protected. Delivery was very prompt. Installation was very simple and straight forward (this was a replacement for a similar product that had been in place for over 20 years.) Product is very attractive and functions just the way it should. We're very happy with it, and hope it lasts us another 20 years.

Nice solid bamboo
I'm making an outdoor water feature, similar to the one in this picture. All the bamboo fountains I saw were usually small, tabletop fountains. I was glad to see this bamboo water spout, the height and size is perfect. The bamboo quality is very good, it has a nice weight and feels sturdy. The assembly directions aren't the best but it's pretty easy to figure out. I was looking all over for a rock similar to the one pictured below the bamboo spout, it's called a Tsukubai, they're difficult to locate locally and shipping costs are usually more expensive than the Tsukubai. I was glad to find an Amazon seller with this item to complete my outdoor water feature. http://www.amazon.com/NVA-Creative-Garden-Granite-6544030/dp/B009HJSFLG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1402355196&sr=8-1&keywords=natsume+water+stone

Install Flash Player We've had this fountain for about a month now and hooked it up to a solar pump (5 Watt Solariver) instead of the pump that came with it. The size is really impressive (larger diameter than expected) and perfect for the edge of a pond or a fountain feature. The length of the tubing is OK, but it would be nice if it were slightly longer. Otherwise, no complaints.

Very nice
I cut both lengths of the bamboo to fit my tsukubai. It looks very nice. Update: After one year it still looks nice, not rotting. I used to make my own but apparently there is a trick—such as heating green bamboo—to kill the bugs but mine would always rot out after a year. I can see this one lasting at least another year.

Love it!
This was a great purchase. Much larger than I expected, so be sure you measure and not just eyeball the pics like I did. My pump came with two settings, so I can do either a fast flow or a slower one.

Beautiful but the pump is a tad bit weak.
When I received this bamboo water spout I was pleasantly surprised. It is much bigger than I pictured. Seems to be very sturdy and looks beautiful. I am using it for a pondless water feature. The only issue I have with it, (and it's not really a big deal for what I'm using it for) is that the pump is almost too weak to pump the water up to where it flows out. You end up getting a very small stream of water coming out. That is fine with me because I don't need a gush of water and if a person wanted more flow, they could use a more powerful pump. It is certainly worth the price for this because of it's beauty. I am happy with it.

Easy to assemble and install - looks fantastic!
I used this for a small existing pond that had a funky looking stone waterfall that needed to be replaced. I removed the waterfall and installed this bamboo spout. When I test mounted it next to the pond, even though it is only three feet high, it looked too big in proportion to the pond. I was going to saw about a foot of it off but my wife talked me into just burying it about ten inches and surrounding it with stones to get it to blend in better. Couldn’t be happier with the results. Installed a blue tooth controlled switch for the pump so I can control it with an app on my cell phone. The photo shown is using my existing pump, not the pump that comes with the spout. Not sure if there is any difference.

Am very pleased with the fountain
Am very pleased with the fountain. Pump flow is low, but perfect for my granite basin. Highly recommend. Used with Atlantic Water Gardens Fountain & Bubbling Urn, Rock Basin, 32-Inch.

Easy to Install
I installed a small fountain/bird bath feature, and this spout has been perfect. The spout is easy to install, and the fountain works well. My yard now attracts soooo many birds. I've found that if a larger bird lands on the spout to drink - like a jay or crow - they can move the spout when they take off, i.e, the spout will be spun on its rebar anchor and the water may not pour where you want it to. But it's easily twisted back into place. I could easily fix it into place but haven't done so.
