Perfect for toddler or pre-schooler
Been using this about a month on my pre-schooler's bed and it's working out great. It sits directly on the mattress, and the mattress protector and sheets are plenty big to stretch over it. It hasn't budged a bit. There is still plenty of room for her in the bed. My daughter even uses it as a pillow or sleeps right against it. It has kept her from rolling off the bed, yet it's easy enough for me to sit on or scoot off of if I am in bed with her during story time and prayers. Highly recommend.

Works like a dream, especially for the middle of the bed!
Love it. Just a piece of foam, doesn't look fancy but does what it's supposed to do. Doesn't move in bed (the foam clings), keeps toddler from falling off. Cheaper than the other brands and take less space on the bed. I also use it when I go on family driving trips to put in the middle of the bed. Otherwise, my baby will roll onto my side and wake me up. Tip: when I was waiting for this to arrive, I rolled up a big blanket, tied it with rubber bands, and stuffed it under the sheets. That worked just as well short term! Eventually, the blanket flattens after a few days and need to be reshaped, and the blanket likes to move while this foam likes to stay put. When we went to Disney World last fall, I didn't bother bring the foam; I just asked for another blanket and brought my own rubber bands to row it up, the put the roll in the middle of the bed under the sheets to keep my baby from rolling onto my side. Worked like a dream! (Disney provides bedrails, so there's no need to use it for the edge of the bed.)

I'm sooooo happy with this
I purchased this because I was afraid my daughter would stand up, walk into, and flip right over the guards that stick up. I'm sooooo happy with this. My daughter is a restless sleeper and rolls around a lot and this keeps her in and safe but is low enough where she can climb over and out when she wakes up. Worth every penny, will definitely buy another for when we travel

A great alternative to the normal bed rail
A great alternative to the normal bed rail. It is far more subtle in appearance and actually is comfortable to sleep against. We use it for our 4 year old and he doesn't mind it at all. It is a snug fit under the sheets.

Works great for cosleeping
This works perfectly in our king bed to prevent my 10 month old from rolling off. Stays in place very well, we’ve been using this every night for over a month and are happy with our purchase.

Great for toddlers
My 3 year old decided a toddler bed was not for him so we moved him into a queen. This fits great under mattress pad and is tall enough to stop him if he rolls over. Also the foam provides safety so he doesn't hurt himself. It doesn't make noise when you have your kiddo to sleep and you are trying to sneak out of the room, which is a huge bonus. Definitely would recommend this to a friend.

Great product
We opted to get these instead of those hideous meshy panels that are so popular. We looked at Pottery Barn for the bedrails that go with her bed and they were like $129/rail. Not willing to pay that much we looked for other options and stumbled across this product. Love them! You put them in place and then put your mattress cover over them and they stay in place. That way you can change your sheets weekly without having to mess with the bumpers. No weird smells, inexpensive, not ugly when you make the bed, and prevents my toddler from sliding out of bed at night, and soft enough to climb over into bed and storytime. Thanks!

Works As Expected
Works exactly as expected. My greatest fear was that it wouldn't be sturdy enough and roll off the bed or that the fitted sheet would not be deep enough to accomodate it but it stands up to my 2 year-old daughter and fits inside the sheet perfectly.
