Mở sẵn lò nướng ở 200 độ C. Tỏi lột vỏ, băm nhuyễn. Cho tỏi băm, 1 muỗng dầu olive, 1/4 muỗng muối, 1/4 muỗng tiêu vào một tô lớn rồi trộn thật đều. Bánh mì cắt thành từng viên vuông nhỏ vừa ăn. Cho bánh mì vừa cắt vào tô sốt và trộn thật đều rồi dàn ra khay nướng. Đặt bánh mì vào lò nướng khoảng 15 phút đến khi thấy chuyển sang màu vàng nâu là được. Lấy ra và để nguội.
Nước sốt salad: cho tỏi băm, 2 muỗng dầu olive, 1 muỗng mù tạt vàng, 1 muỗng giấm, 1 muỗng nước cốt chanh, 1 muỗng canh sốt mayonnaise, muối, tiêu vào tô lớn và khuấy thật đều. Xà lách rửa sạch, cắt khúc vừa ăn. Cho xà lách vào tô sốt rồi trộn thật đều cho sốt thấm vào cải. Gắp cải ra dĩa, cho phô mai bào lên trên rồi thêm bánh mì nướng là hoàn thành rồi đó.
